​Background

I hold a Master's in Education and a concentration in Adapted PE. I've had the privilege of designing curriculum, coaching, and teaching students from ages two to twenty-one in medical, private and public school settings for over 20 years. My work centered on implementing individualized instruction, helping students develop skills for lifelong health and well-being. As my pathway evolved, my intuition crystalized, guiding me to my practice today.

 

Qualifications

HTCP, CMHFP-T​

The Healing Touch Program, an internationally recognized and accredited program, is where I completed my training and apprenticeship to become a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner (HTCP). The credential of HTCP carries the highest level of quality of any energy medicine modality; it requires completion of 5 levels of structured training, a one-year apprenticeship program working with clients under the supervision of a Qualified Mentor and certification. Additional interests and credentials include earning an End of Life Doula Professional Certificate through the University of Vermont, and becoming a Certified ‘M’ Technique® Hand & Foot Practitioner and Trainer (CMHFP-T).

 

Practice

Natural Connections Healing Touch services are offered in-person in the comfort of client's homes, our Trout Lake location and Telluride. Virtual sessions are also offered for those who prefer a remote experience or who live afar. Other settings where I have provided Healing Touch and The ‘M’ Technique®, include the hospital setting, caring for patients in the ICU, and the medical, surgical, orthopedic, and maternity floors, as well as clinic settings caring for staff and home hospice settings for patients.
